We are here to educate, serve, and support consumers and businesses with cybersecurity and information technology.
Rosewood Ventures, LLC is named after the black township of Rosewood, Florida. In the early 20th century, as the Jim Crow South was in full bloom, Rosewood thrived as nearly all its inhabitants were African-American and successful business people. In 1923, Rosewood was destroyed due to the lies told regarding the rape and assault of a white woman by a black man. The township never recovered as the inhabitants fled the area, resettling in the neighboring towns of Chiefland, Williston, Archer, Newberry, Trenton, and Gainesville. The owner of Rosewood Ventures is a direct descendant of the survivors and victims of that fateful event. Rosewood Ventures aims to restore and cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit within economically disadvantaged communities to assist minorities and minority-owned businesses with an alternative to traditional eCommerce payment applications and other information technology transformation services that support consumer, business-to-consumer, and business-to-business transactions.
Financial Technology and electronic payments/mobile banking are fast paced, evolving industries. In response to this climate, Rosewood Ventures will offer other services, including financial wealth management and seek other venture capital opportunities in the future.
Additional Services will be based on educating users and organizations about Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
